He heard only the word "Run!" and so Tomo ran as fast as he could. He had to do it otherwise he would end up like his friends and the other kids in the park. Until a few moments ago they were having fun in the garden of the large municipal garden and watching some Pokemon fly, dive into the pond or fight, only to then find themselves as tall as a pencil and being mistaken for insects by the Pokemon.
He doesn't know why fate had favoured him in that moment, but he never saw many of his friends again. He didn't want to witness what was happening behind him, their screams were enough and he heard shots, beams, explosions and much more. In the end, he was left alone in a deafening silence in the middle of the woods. He didn't know how long he had run, but he was tired, so he leaned on a stone as he observed how tall the blades of grass were and how miserable he was.
He no longer had a home, a family or a world to which he could go. His life suddenly fell apart and he couldn't do anything about it. He wanted to hug his parents, but there was no one there with him. He started to sob and then burst into tears. He was so immersed in the sadness of the tremor that it slowly grew in intensity. Then a large paw fell near him, missing him and he fell to the ground in fright. Looking up, a female Kangaskhan towered over him with an intrigued look.
He was terrified and even more so when a huge claw descended on him. Instinctively he covered himself with his arms, closed his eyes and awaited the fatal blow. A shot that never came. Opening first one eye and then another he noticed that the Pokemon was petting him on the head. Surprised by this kindness, Tomo however impulsively said: "Please don't hurt me. I'm a good kid!" "I won't do anything to you, stay calm." the Pokemon replied softly, taking Tomo off guard. "You speak?" "Yes, my name is Kanga, may I know yours?" "Tome." Kanga smiled "That's a nice name. How come you're here alone? Where are your parents little one?" at that moment Tomo's eyes filled with tears and he started crying again. Kanga, taken aback and feeling guilty, gently pulled Tomo closer to her and hugged him "Shhh, calm down. I'm sorry, I didn't know... I will help you."
"You can't help them" Tomo says crying. "But I can protect you. I can't leave you alone here" Kanga responded "Don't worry I will find a safe place for you, even if it's the last thing I do."

The temperature and softness were perfect. Tomo sleeps peacefully with laughter on his face. Kanga's belly and hug have been having this effect on Tomo for the last 6 months. Both are resting in the gym while the first rays of the sun begin to penetrate the windows. Kanga, like a good mother, is the first to wake up and makes sure that Tomo is okay. She delicately lifts him, but she holds him close to her belly to keep him warm. Still half asleep and yawning, Kanga gets up and slowly walks towards the living room to have breakfast.
