"Oh, we can have so much fun with this." She giggled as she started to bite her lip and with a lowered voice she whispered. "I want to try something, do you trust me?" She asked but was over joyed when he nodded his head. "I'm going to copy my hair to you, but I can change it back after a while." Josh truly loved her and trusted her since she had gotten him out of many rough spots since Middle School. He looked over at her long black hair as it framed her face. He remembered when he tried to grow his own hair out during his senior year of high school and that lasted for a couple months before he went to get his hair trimmed.
She was thinking that Josh would be against it and was already thinking of a way that she could force it onto him, but she was thrown for a loop when he replied. "Sure. We can copy that onto me, I've wanted to try having longer hair."
"Really?" She clasped her hands together with delight at hearing this. "You're the best boyfriend ever." She said with a huge smile as she started to think about what she wanted to swap and utter the word to cause the magic to occur. She pointed to her hair, but just as she was about to complete the spell, Both Emily and William walked into the room just chatting away with each other. "Hey Em." Jenn called out to her friend.
Her friend's blonde hair, tied up in its usual pony tail, flew to the side as she turned her head. Seeing the healthy looking blonde hair that her friend had, Jenn started to think of something else. "Hey look, its Jenn and Josh." She cheerfully said to William as she waved gingerly over to them. William looked a little annoyed that his friend, Josh, and his girlfriend, Jenn were also there, but decided to make the best out of it.
"Hey there man." William said with a smile. Getting near to where they were sitting, Josh could smell the cologne that he was wearing. "Way to leave me hangin' in there. I still don't know how you get done so quickly with the exams." He turned the chair around and sat with his legs around the back of the chair.
"Leave him alone Willy." Emily said with a glimmer in her eye. "I mean, if you had Jenny helping you study, you would be done really quick too." She gave her friend a slight nudge in the process too. "So what are you guys up to now that your done with midterms?" Sitting down next to Jenn, Emily took a a quick sip of her coffee, but nearly spit it out. "Its still hot." She said sheepishly to her laughing friends.
Jenn gave the book a quick glance and then over to Josh. Knowing what she was wanting to do, Josh smiled and nodded his head. "Funny you should ask." She cleared her throat as if she was about to make a grandiose announcement. "I found this book that only I can read." She said with a wide smile. "I'm a witch." She held out her arms and looked back over at her friends. Both Emily and William looked over at Josh with a concerned look on their face.
Letting out a sigh, Josh nodded his head and told them about how he found the book, but only Jenn could read it. "She was just about to give me her hair to see if that would work." The look on their faces ranged from Emily's smiling face to William's I'm done with this shit. Emily, being a proud and loyal Hufflepuff, had always loved the Harry Potter books and thought it would be great if she really could do magic.
"Oooo..." She nearly squealed. "How about you give Will and Josh my hair. We can have so much fun." She brought her hands up to her pony tail to play with it. Looking over at William, she could see his pessimistic attitude. "Awe come on Mr. Sour Puss. What's the worse that could happen." She then gave him her puppy dog look. "Please... For me?"
William let out a chuckle and rolled his eyes. "Fine. Do I need to do a blood sacrifice or anything?" He asked handing out his arm and closing his eyes. "Be careful I will faint at the sight of blood." Jenn couldn't help but chuckle at his over the top attitude.
Clearing her throat once more. Jenn looked over at Emily and pointed her finger at her and announced "Enffingo!" There wasn't any flashes of light or mystical sounds indicating that it worked, but that didn't stop her from continuing. Pointing both of her hands at Josh and William, she announced once more. "Crustulum!"
Both of they guys felt an odd stirring on their scalps and they brought their hands up to give it a quick scratch, but Emily let out a gasp. "What?" William asked looking over at her. Josh looked over and could see that his hair started to look lighter and straighter than his disheveled look. They all watched with awe as both of their hair started to flow outwards and within a minute, both of them had Emily's hair on their heads. "Wow." Both Josh and William exclaimed as they both brought hands up to their new longer hair and started to run their fingers through it. Emily looked closer at William as he was playing with his new hair.
"I can't believe it worked." She bought William's hair up to her nose and gave it a quick sniff. "It smells like my shampoo too." Hearing this, both Josh and Jenn grabbed a small portion of Josh's hair to give it a quick sniff too. "So will everyone be able to see this or are we the only ones?" Emily asked Jenn who had just started to get her brush out of her purse in order to make josh a little more presentable.
