While trying to rack your brain about what exactly was going on today (and why your subconscious kept mentally tickling you about today being special), your eyes ended up lingering on something just outside the kitchen that you could barely see. Upon closer inspection, you realized it was the handle on Mari's purple suitcase. Hopping off the kitchen table, you rounded the corner and saw three regular sized suitcases sitting there in the living room, and an affected-sized one resting beside Mari's own.
You slapped a hand against your palm. Of course! It was the first day of your family vacation today! How had you forgotten?
Vacations had been hit or miss while you were growing up, and that was putting it generously. More often than not, Jenna would spend the entire time tormenting you relentlessly and ensuring you suffered the whole trip, while she and whoever else you were with enjoyed fun and relaxation in your stead. It had been one of the cruelest things she'd done when you were younger, and one of the first things she'd fervently apologized for after finally reconciling with you. Because of her, you'd been robbed of so many exotic expeditions and experiences.
But now you were an adult and a family man, and you were determined that things would be different. Sure, getting into incidents still seemed inevitable given your horrible luck and the less-than-perfect attentiveness and memory of your three giantesses family members, but surely things would be better this time! Surely!
Where is your vacation taking place?
1) You and your family are headed to a luxurious beach resort in the Bahamas, ready to soak up the sun and ride the waves! The resort is sure to be packed with beachgoers this time of year, but you're still excited!
2) You and your family are headed to a famous tourist resort in the middle of Tokyo, ostensibly so you can visit the world-famous One-Sun Mecha Samurai X museum and store (your favorite anime). There will be plenty of other sightseeing and shopping too!
3) You and your family are headed to a scenic remote cabin in Canada, deep in the woods and bordering an idyllic lake. No internet, no cell service, and limited electricity. The perfect chance to disconnect and unwind from the stresses of daily life!
