Stan peered at his phone and sprang up in excitement. He saw ‘Tia :)’ flashed on his phone, his first instinct was to put a heart, but opted out just in case someone saw how corny he was. He answered it quickly, perhaps appearing too eager, he couldn’t help himself when it came to his neighbor.
“Hello?”
“Stan! Hi!”
“Tia hey! What’s uh, how’s it going… man?”
Stupid… he thought
“I’m great, bro! Haha. You busy?”
“No, just got off as a matter of fact.”
“Awesome! Well, if you want, Shaniqua and her friend went to a concert. So, I’m kinda lonely, wanna watch a movie or something?”
“Yes! Erm, yeah that sounds cool. Gimme like 10-15 minutes.”
Stan couldn’t believe his luck. Tia was that type of crush, that gave a man an avenue to make moves and he was so grateful for that. Taking in to account that her awful sister was out for the night, this could be his time to seal the deal with her.
Realistically, it took much less than 15 minutes to go to her apartment, but Stan wanted to take one more shower to ensure that he got off the last of Izzy’s butt funk. He used his time as well as he could, got out, dried off, sprinkled some cologne on, threw on a good shirt and was off to the races. He walked outside to notice Tia standing in her doorway.
“Hey, figured I’d greet you, given how small your knocks are, ha.” This girl was a dream come true. She gently set you in her palm. Once inside she set you down on her coffee table with a charcuterie board waiting for you. Little chunks of salami and cheese with your name on it. Stan and Tia were having a lovely night, they started out with some chitchat about their days. Stan left out the part when he took a tour of Izzy’s unclean body. He listened well and gave meaningful responses.
The time came for the movie. Tia set him on a couch pillow with plenty of cushioning. She set the pillow on her lap and Stan was comforted by the warmth of her firm stomach. This night was shaping up to be the best in his recent memory.
