Fanie 'O Keefe is a pilot, transporting cargo to pilots through the great snowy mountains. It's a thankless job but at least the pay is very good.
One day, while carrying excavated jewelery and artifacts to a client, a snowstorm begins to appear damaging your plane's engine which resulted in her crashing down to the forest.
Even though she survived, it'll take a while for anyone to come and get her. After radio calling for backup, the signal was manageable for her to ask HQ to send a support chopper but only if she could find somewhere or some sort of landmark for the chopper to ID and land. Since there's not much to describe where she's crashed exactly.
So, for a few days and few cold nights, she had to build a makeshift shelter with her crashed plane and some campfire made of dried sticks and planks from broken boxes. MRE supplies could only supply her for a month at best if properly rationed.
The only big problem right now is trying to find some town or a big landmark looking thing for the chopper to ID and triangulate to locate or whatever.
But the snowstorm halted Fanie's sense of direction and the freezing temperature is overwhelming the small warmth of the campfire.
In desperation, she decided to ransack the client's crate to find something to help warm up the place, maybe a red hot jewel that could act as a warmer or something.
Instead, out of the boxes was a pendant, glimmering in gold with a super pretty gem, glimmer a green hue. As well as a note:
To you who find this gift, the pendant could grant the wish of the bearer. Any wish no matter how small or large, even the most impossible ones, the reality bending ones. If one so wish to be a God, you can become one.
But be warned, be careful on how you phrased your wish. For the pendant seeks sick thrills behind your carelessness. It will consider things you had not realized nor conceived.
After all, all things are balanced in the universe.
Perhaps her brain freezed to make your common sense numb, but she could've sworn this note imply this thing could grant limitless wishes out of her own free will and whim.
