"What in the...?" Adrian rubbed his eyes, slapped himself, even pinched himself hard on the arm to try and wake up, yet it seems he wasn't dreaming. His room had been replaced with an expansive beach, with white sand of the sort only seen in tropical getaway photos. Seashells jutted out of it near the water's edge, the water itself looking crystal-clear with a smattering of color beneath it—a coral reef? Turning around, he saw the dense treeline, with notable palm trees leaning in and swaying against the breeze. The only item out of place, so far as he could tell, was his computer chair, which must've come with him when he... Teleported.
"This has gotta be a dream, and yet it's... It's..." Adrian muttered to himself, holding up the pendant and inspecting it in the warm sunlight. "Did this... Bring me here? But how—?"
"Oh my, a new visitor, after so long!" "And one with the World Pendant, no less!"
"—huh?!" Voices, a pair of them, caught him off-guard, and he turned back towards the treeline to see emerging from it—
