You stepped into the airport dragging a small suitcase behind you. You couldn't help but smile as you thought about two glorious weeks in beautiful Japan. You were sick of the US and its terrible people who always mistook you for a child or a baby, and you hoped a change of pace in a new country would be helpful. Heck, maybe if you liked Japan enough you'd stay. You heard the culture was much more respectful, and you desperately needed some respect.
You bought the TSA Pre check just so you wouldn't have to deal with too many people, and luckily got through everything with relative ease, only having to show one suspicious security woman your passport to prove your age.
You arrived at your gate a couple of hours early, having budgeted extra time in case your stature did give you issues. You looked around. There was a coffee shop and a restaurant nearby, and some bathrooms. At your actual gate were boarding agents and what looked like a group of people from the flight scheduled before yours getting up to board.
