Wendy O. said nothing as her clown car flew over the Mushroom Kingdom, passing Peach's castle and then landing in front of a big, spooky mansion.
The rickety wooden doors in front opened, seemingly of their own accord, and Wendy shoved you through them.
"I brought him, just like you asked," Wendy yelled. "He's all yours."
She leaned closer to you.
"Hope you ain't afraid of no ghosts," she whispered.
You watched her walk back out to her clown car. There was the roar of thunder, a flash of lightning, and then a huge gust of wind seemed to slam the heavy doors closed.
The mansion's foyer seemed empty, and you wondered who Wendy had been talking to.
Until Queen Booette suddenly materialized right in front of you, startling you so you screamed and jumped back.
She was hovering just over the floor in a shimmering white corset. She wore an old fashioned necklace and long white opera gloves. Thin, white stockings came up to her knees, with white fishnet covering her thighs and going down to her white high-heeled slippers.
Her round, camellia colored eyes were surrounded by glittering silver and pink. Her lips were shiny and hot pink, over sharp white fangs. Her thick eyebrows and long eyelashes were dark as night. Her hair was long and white, with the same heart-shaped bangs as Princess Peach. She could easily be mistaken for Princess Peach, if Peach had gone all-in on an elaborate Boo costume. Atop her white hair was a star-shaped crown with big eyes and the cap of a pink mushroom poking out the top.
Booette hadn't even made eye contact with you yet, but kept looking all around you shyly. She moved closer, closing her eyes, reaching out her hands, and letting her long pink tongue loll out between those sharp, shiny fangs.
