The Phantom Thieves blanched as Sae entered Cafe Leblanc. They knew exactly why. Makoto had once mentioned that since her sister now knew and supported her as a Phantom Thief, she sent Sae texts telling her that she got out of the Metaverse safely. When that text failed to come in, it was only a matter time before big sis came around for answers.

Ann Takamaki was the first to speak up. She was one of Makoto's closer friends in the team. "H-hey, Niijima-san! Makoto's safe, I swear. It's just hard to explain."

Sae clicked her tongue, firm on her judgement. She wouldn't believed them until she saw Makoto herself. "If she's safe then where is she?"
