Lila walked into school, flipping her hair as she sent Adrien a wink. Adrien gave her a brief wave but seemed focused on his conversation with Nino. No matter; Lila was already working closely with Adrien’s father, it was only a matter of time until Adrien saw that Lila was clearly the girl for him.
Honestly, Lila only wanted Adrien because she wanted to take everything Marinette loved and make it hers. The goody two shoes was the only one who had ever called Lila out on her lies and she hated it.
“Speak of the devil.” Lila murmured to herself, seeing Marinette rush late into the classroom. Lila held out her foot, discreetly tripping Marinette to make her rival look like a fool. Their classmates laughed at Marinettes clumsiness.
“Oh goodness marinette, are you alright?” Lila faked concern, reaching a hand down to help only to be slapped away.
“I don’t need your help.” Marinette huffed, glaring at her.
