You arrive in the diaper isle of the store, still not believing whether or not this is actually happening. You see so many different brands, styles, colors... You mother reading the absorbency of each one and looking up reviews.
A friendly store clerk halfheartedly asks if we need help finding anything. Before you even have time to panic, you mother asks kindly, "I'm looking for some diapers that would suit my daughter here. Something plenty absorbent for her size but also secure."
The worker looks taken aback, but quickly composes himself assisting your mother in picking out brands. The pullup style diapers you had wanted, quickly brushed off by the both of them.
"Okay honey, Blue or pink." She refers to the colors on a box of baby diapers.
"I want pullups, not those ones...." You can't help but deflate.
She quickly shushes you. "I'm buying them, I know best trust me."
