Gloria was watching the exhibition match between Leon and Raihan in the front room. The crowd was getting loud, and Gloria was getting loud with them.
The battle started with them Gigantamaxing Charizard and Duraludon. It was at that moment she saw outside the window that the telly sat in front of Hop and Victor, running down the street.
From how Hop was getting excited as the days went on, she knew Leon would be visiting soon. Seeing them running towards Hop's house made it clear to her that today is the day.
She turned the TV off and ran upstairs to grabbed her bag.
Seeing her so excited, her dad decided to mess with her one last time before she left.
"If you're leaving, don't forget your lolly."

"Dad." she siad, cringing. "Stop calling them that."
"Would you prefer dosh? Readies? Wonga?" He said with an evil smile.
Gloria chuckled and gave her dad a hug. He, in turn, gave her a pokéflute as a late birthday present.
When she left for Hop's house, she saw Leon coming up the road.
"Leon! Hey Leon!"
"Hey Gloria!" He greeted as she ran towards him. "You good? How's Hop been?"
"Yea, I'm good. And he's been a bloody wanker, as usual." They shared a laugh as they made their way up the road. "Sorry to ask, but I heard you were going to give Hop and Victor their starters. So-"
"Relax." He interrupted. "I was planning on getting you anyway."
He had her wait outside while he got his brother, who came out only a minute later.
"The hell are you doing here?"
"Leon's giving me a starter too!"
The two had a friendly rivalry, so they began bickering a bit. Which ended when Victor came outside.
After a bit of back and fore, Leon announced it was time for them to choose their starters and brought them out.
"So, who will you choose?"
"Go on Vic, you pick first. I already have my Wooloo after all."
Victor turned to Gloria. "You wanna go first?"
"And let you get the best of me? Piss off." She said smiling.
