Michael was staring down Lugia with Gardevoir and Hariyama. Though he struggled, he was able to catch it.
SIMULATION: COMPLETE
No one else was really keeping up with their training because of how long it had been since Shadow Pokémon stopped showing up. But if Professor Krane thought they'd come back one day, Michael believed it was better to keep up his training. If nothing else, it was better to be safe than sorry.
Just as he was coming out, his mother, Lily, asked his to find his sister as she hadn't been seen for nearly an hour. It wouldn't be hard to find her, not with the bond she had with her pokémon.
He went to her room, grabbed Plusle, and went outside.
"Alright, girl. Where's Jovi?"
Plusle perked up and ran into the forest behind the building.
He followed her as she led him right to Jovi picking berries off a tree. As expected, it wasn't that hard.
When Plusle and Minun started playing, Jovi looked down to see her brother watching her. "Big brother!" She said happily.
She claimed down and picked up a basket full of assorted berries. "Look at what Jovi found, ALL by herself! If you're lucky, Jovi will let you help her make poffins!"
He just smiled. She'd come a long way since she was a scared little kid, reading up on illeism had really boosted her confidence. "You'll give mom a heart attack one day, she was wondering where you were."
"Oh! Jovi better go let her know Jovi's OK." And with that, she was off.
Michael's P★DA then went off, alerting his off an E-Mail. Professor Krane wanted to talk to him.
He went to Krane's lab and found that he'd finally completed the Snag Machine. Krane wanted him to test it out, leaving to wait in the Simualtion Room.
Aidan helped him put it on and placed the finished Shadow Monitor in the P★DA.
Just as they were finished, they heard a noise outside and ran to see these thugs taking the Professor.
Michael summoned his Eevee, to which one of them brought out a nasty looking Teddiursa. The Teddiursa caused the Shadow Monitor to activate and he could see it's dark aura. Without thinking, Michael grabbed a pokéball and snagged the Shadow Pokémon, causing the thugs to panic and run.
Michael spent the next 20 minutes being a shoulder to cry on, as Jovi was near bawling for Professor Krane. After which time, their mother came to them and said they'd continue finishing the Perification Machine.
She asked Michael to get a special part they needed, but he didn't know where the shop was. Luckily, Jovi did and offered to take him.
Jovi went to her room and recalled Plusle and Minun to their pokéballs, while also handing Michael a pokéflute she'd found for "always being there for Jovi."
He went with her to Gateon Port and followed her to the store.
When he collected the part, he found she'd run off and was talking to a sailor.
"Jovi's big brother has an Eevee too." She said as he approached.
The sailor talked about his love for Eevee's and how he was collecting evolution stones connected to its evolutions.
He offered Michael one of the stones he'd collected. Michael was going to turn him down, but realised he needed all the help he could get.
