the moment of truth: The exam

You parked your bike at the front of the school and head to one of the halls to take the exam. As you walked to the exam, you saw one of the older professors near the front. Wispy white hair with red colored glasses and a mischievous grin of sorts. Mr. Lusk was always a character. He saw you and smiled ear to ear.
"Young Frank! Ready for today's exam?"
"Yes sir! Hoping to make my family proud"
Mr. Lusk smiled, "But before you do, come to my office to get your exam. It should be on my table". You nodded as you walked to th side of the main hall to a closed office. You enter the room and see the booklet on the desk. It looked different than the others though. Walking to the side, you peer at the book for a bit before opening it. The moment it was opened, you felt a rush of air pull your hand into the book. Bright light flowed from its depths. You were shocked. Behind you stood Mr. Lusk smiling. He wanted to make sure you passed the exam with flying colors. He remembered an old gift from a mentor of his for moments like this. Knowing your family history, Mr. Lusk was sure you would appreciate it.
You felt your hand slide into the book as you body was thrusted into the pages. The book closed and the room became silent.
Mr. Lusk smiled, "Now, the transformation"
