The club members were currently discussing the club fair coming up. You all really wanted to leave a good impression on the student body, so the group was discussing how best to present the literature club. The first thing you had to do was figure out what theme you wanted to go with, but none of the ideas thrown out so far seemed promising.
"I have an idea, why don't we see what we have lying around in storage. Maybe we'll find the inspiration there."
Natsuki said it a little stuffily. Although she was putting in a lot of effort, the constant work was clearly grating on her.
"Let's see, Natsuki and MC, could you both check the storage room? Yuri and I will look in the closet."
You both nodded to the club leader and started out on your way. Natsuki was giving you the cold shoulder today. You doubted there was any real reason to, just seemed like one of those days. You did wonder if it had something to do with the extra stress of the upcoming event.
After an awkward walk, you both walked into the room. How Monika had managed to get an entire room, even if it wasn't that big, was still a mystery to you. You looked around but didn't see anything too interesting. There were a plethora of books, poems, even a few manga. They would make fine background pieces, but nothing to base your theme off of. You'd barely registered the sound of Natsuki rummaging through some stuff on the other side of the room.
"Whoa! I never expected to see something like this here! MC, come here and help me try it."
The sudden sound startled you, but a part of you was relieved that her luck had been a little better than yours.
