Before Morgan could go searching for help she would first have to determine where she was. The first thing she noticed was that the ground was muddy and wet beneath her barefeet. Upon looking around she noticed there were plants, such as cattails, the size of the tallest trees, and actual trees that might as well have been mountains. Then the beautiful woman noticed the smell, a rather terrible smell.
"A swamp! I'm in a swamp!" Morgan exclaimed in irritation. Of all the places she could have been left after being shrunk this had to be one of the most humiliating! A swamp was no place to leave a queen such as herself after all. The queen of Faerie Britian just stood there seething over the fact that her mysterious would be assassins not only shrunk her but left her in a place such as this for at least five minutes before forcing herself to calm down. If she was going to make it out of this she needed to maintain a cool head and find help. To find help though she would first need find a way to get out of this swamp, and to get a better idea of the layout of the swamp.
Looking around Morgan spotted a nearby log. Perfect, she could climb it and get a better few of the land. She quickly made her way over to the log and began climbing it. At Morgan's current size the climb took a while to complete, and she nearly fell off multiple times during the climb due in combination to rot and her having been more a magical scholar than athlete. During the climb the beautiful woman couldn't help but think about how she wouldn't have to do this if she could use her magecraft. If she had access to her magecraft she could have just flown to the top of this log or even teleported out of the swamp instead of making this exhausting climb. Not to mention the various bits of the wood that would catch on her clothes and poke at her exposed skin. After about 30 minutes the miniscule queen made it to the top of the log.
After taking a few minutes to catch her breath Morgan looked out over the swamp to see what she could. There wasn't an obvious exit to the swamp in sight, though Morgan suspected that would be the case, but there were options the faerie queen could traverse to try and find a way out. To the north of her was mostly water with trees every now and then instead of land. This wasn't too much of an issue since as a faerie of paradise one of Morgan's natural abilities that didn't rely on magecraft was that to walk on water. She could just walk across the water as easily as land to the other side of the swamp, but the real issue would be predators lurking beneath the surface. At her current size even a fish could easily swim up beneath her and gulp her down while she made her trek across the water. To the east of Morgan was a relatively clear path that indicated it might well traveled by people. However, it could easily be a game trail that predators hunt on.
"Being at the bottom of the food chain is rather inconvenient," Morgan sighed before turning her attention to the other two options. To the west of the beautiful woman was more plant life that could serve as coverage, but she might not be able to see anything until it was right on top of her. The south was bits of land covered in flora seperated by water. However, as she looked over there Morgan saw a caterpillar climbing up one of the cattails; the sight of which nearly sent her into a panic attack. She quickly spun around to face the north to try and calm down. The thought of encountering any bugs at her size was scary enough, but the thought of encountering a caterpillar terrified her to no end. Still as she calmed down she knew she had to make a decision of where to go. Eventually, Morgan decided...
