You are Steve Jackson. You are a 18 year old teenager who is currently in his senior year of high school. You were a solid backup quarterback for your high school which was reflected with your body. You were 6’1, relatively in good shape, had dirty blonde hair, and were decently handsome. You recently heard about the Swap Clinic and grew curious over it. Sure, your body was pretty good but the idea of having a different one did appeal to you.
One Saturday, you were sitting at home, thinking about the Swap Clinic. The idea of becoming someone else circled in your mind but you weren’t sure about giving up your body.
“I wish I knew more about them,” you said as scrolled on your phone. As fate would have it, a link to the Swap Clinic website appeared. Opening it, you saw all of the options available. One option jumped out to you, rentals. That was the perfect solution to your problem. You quickly scanned the site for an address and put it into your phone.
“Strange, it’s only a couple blocks from here,” you said as you shot out of bed and made your way to the Swap Clinic. You didn’t mean to run but the excitement made you walk with a very quick pace. In a matter of minutes, you had arrived at the Swap Clinic. Looking at the building, it looked like any other warehouse you’d ever seen. Shrugging it off, you opened the door and were greeted to a very clean looking facility.
“Welcome to the Swap Clinic young man,” you heard as you looked around and spotted a young lady behind a rather large desk. You approached the desk as you continued to look around.
“Hey miss. This is a nice place you got here,” you said as you were still in awe of how lavish the place looked. Everywhere you looked was extremely clean and made the place look professional. The lady smiled at your compliment.
“Yes, we aim to make this place look the best we can. Now, how can I help you today?” The lady asked. You took a minute to reply, making sure this is what you wanted to do.
“Uhhh yeah I’m here because I heard y'all do rental bodies.” The lady giggled a little as she could tell you were nervous.
“Let me guess, first time? You’ll love our rentals. Here, our catalog of rentals are in this tablet here. Feel free to check them out and pick whichever you like. The tablet will also ask you about what you’d like to do with your body,” she said as she handed you a tablet over the counter. You stare at it for a second.
“Can I ask, what do you mean about what I’d like to do with my body?” You ask, a tad confused. The lady giggles again.
“Oh right, all the newbies struggle with this. So when you rent a body from us, we give you three options to do with your current body. You can first store your body, ensuring no one touches it while you’re gone. This is our most expensive option. We also offer a swap rental option in which the host of the body you want can take over your current body. This option is very common with people who rent the same body every time. The third option we offer is a full rental. Here, your body will enter our rental catalog and be available to rent for as long as your rental is. This can sometimes make you money which some people love.”
