This choice: A great villain, leading a great criminal organization. • Go Back...Chapter #2Ominous and In Charge by: Keroro04 So you wish to be a villain huh?
Supervillains have a bigger stake in the world. Unlike goons who are usually low-level criminals robbing banks, supervillains actually do some seriously dangerous stuff. Invading entire cities, turning people into monsters, or just targeting the biggest heroes out there. For their ambitions, they tend to live surprisingly long and have the experience (and sometimes figure) to show it.
Moss
Original Name: Alice Hawthorne
Age: 61 (Biologically 21)
Height/Weight: 5'1"/249 lbs.
Origin: Human/Plant Hybrid
Moss was born a long time ago, long enough to have seen the Delta Event for herself. A veteran among veterans, the power she had gotten was... biological immortality through moss replacing her blood and hair. While she still had a humanlike figure, she stopped aging and could be decapitated, sliced into ribbons and even obliterated only to rebuild herself from a tiny scrap of moss.
As such, she was experimented upon by the US Army, in an attempt to create a biologically immortal army of super soldiers. Forced to be put into countless painful experiences she grew enraged at society for torturing someone who had just wanted to live a normal life as a botanist. She escaped from the army complex thirty years ago, and had settled into villainy ever since.
Moss lacks the ability to control other plants, but with her mossy invulnerability she is a one woman army. Leading a gang of plant themed criminals in Chicago, her body may have gotten physically soft due to a lack of a true threat to her life, but she still thinks of herself in her peak, even if she can't quite fit into her costume as well as she could before.
Grant Gunderson
CEO of Gundercorp
Age: 34
Height/Weight: 6'3"/198 lbs.
Origin: Rich Industrialist Turned Villain
Grant Gunderson runs Gundercorp, a industrial juggernaut running on crude oil. With refineries all over the world, he viewed himself as a unstoppable force of capitalism, who's company would be unchallenged by the world of capes and villains. However, even with his millions of dollars there was one thing he could never buy for himself: superpowers to use to subjugate those environmentalists trying to stop his work.
Then came Dullahanna, an alien with a detachable head and incredible super strength who ruined everything. A hero who protected nature, she tore down his oil refineries, prevented him from dumping waste wherever he wanted, and even brought him to court in an attempt to incarcerate him for his many crimes. While he always managed to avoid jail time, he had become obsessed with this thorn in his side, wishing to find a weakness.
To that end, Gundercorp turned to weapons production, with Grant himself researching ways to figure out a weakness to the alien dullahan. He at least knows that she has a severe sweet tooth, but has no way of figuring out how to use that in combat. As such, he still uses brute force, developing mighty war robots in attempts to crush her... usually to little success.
The Volcanus Twins
Civilian Name: Roxie Blaze/Rick Blaze
Age: 21 (Both)
Height/Weight (Roxie): 5'11"/200 lbs.
Height/Weight (Rick): 5'11"/230 lbs.
Origin: Fire Themed Twins Fighting for Succession
Roxie and Rick Blaze are the twin offspring of the legendary supervillain Volcanus, one of the first huge villains to emerge from the Delta Event. Inheriting their father's ability to control fire and magma to an incredible degree as well as his conniving nature, the twins always squabbled and fought each other growing up, a pair of spoiled brats who saw each other as rivals more than trusted family.
Then Volcanus died violently in a battle with the Power Lounge, his head chopped off by General Ohio's square shield axe. Suddenly, the Krakatoa Syndicate that he had built up was leaderless, and the two heirs tried struggling in order to try to claim as much power as they could for themselves. Unfortunately however, when it time to read Volcanus's will, he actually wanted them to share the syndicate as dual leaders.
For now, they accepted but it was clear that one wanted the other dead or at least incapable of leading. While Rick simply wants to trick Roxie to die in battle, Roxie has come up with a more subdued way of winning the struggle: simply fattening up her brother until he becomes too gluttonous and fat to lead properly. All she needs is to find the right person who can help her in this endeavor.
Spotlight
Civilian Name: Aki B-2
Age: 25
Height/Weight: 5'0"/1250 lbs. (Mostly from metal, if she were human she'd be around 125)
Origin: Robotic Stage Magician
Built by the organization known as WHISK, Aki B-2 was originally built in a plot by Whipped Daimou to seduce the Japanese Prime Minister before cutting off his head and replacing him. A shapeshifting robot with a stage magician motif, she succeeded in her mission briefly... but malfunctioned and became a solo act without ever shifting control of Japan to WHISK, before being beat back by a group of Japanese heroes in spandex.
Travelling the globe and on the run from the company that created her, she became really obsessed with stage magic, and tried learning actual magic... only to discover that while certain robots could use magic, she was not one of them. Angered at this, she murdered a magician superhero going by the name of Spotlight, took her identity and turned said identity into that of a grand supervillain.
Aki B-2 has an immense hatred of true magic, considering her stage tricks and shapeshifting to be far superior. She leads her own organization known as the Mahoyakuza, filled with circus and stagehand-themed crooks who are meant to infiltrate her targets deeply to avoid being targeted by heroes. She has also infiltrated the Power Lounge as a janitor to their Gold Sanctum, in order to personally ruin their resident Grand Magus and also fellow Japanese cape, Amaterasu. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
