Goons, otherwise known as the street level criminal.
Whether you're a brand new villain on the scene with zero experience to your name, or a talented low level baddie serving a greater force, you're not high on the totem pole in the villain world. Your experience reaches only as far as robbing buildings and perhaps maybe burning down a few houses, and you struggle against rookie heroes. And don't even think of facing off against a pro hero. Still, you gotta start somewhere in this dog eat dog world.
Multiplicity
Civilian Name: Sally Gisket
Age: 20
Height/Weight: 5'6"/580 lbs.
Origin: Divisible Goon
Sally Gisket started out as any other sort of mean girl on the scene. A cheerleader in high school, she cared little about others and only had eyes on herself and whatever boytoy she could find to be her girlfriend. By the time she graduated, she was so obsessed with herself that she just stared at the mirror for hours on end, like a modern day Narcissus. What happened next was a shocking thing, that nobody could see coming: the reflection stared back.
Meeting together, the two halves combined into one Sally, one which had doubled in weight. She was shocked by this but to her surprise she found she could split into two separate copies of herself, each of them thin again due to having only half of the weight of her combined self. Later on, she discovered that the more she weighed, the more clones she could divide from herself and the stronger she'd become as she slowly recombined!
Two years later and Sally has eaten herself over a quarter ton in weight. She almost never spends her time in that form, instead remaining split into five separate Multiplicities, with one as the head of the bunch who spoke for them all. With 5 people on her side, she quickly gained a name for herself as a local criminal, though due to her lack of experience she's stuck simply picking at the scraps left by other villains, something she loathes about herself.
Calico Cat
Civilian Name: Melanie O'Connor
Age: 24
Height/Weight: 4'5"/90 lbs.
Origin: Cat Burglar
Melanie O'Connor is a Irish-American, and proud daughter of the CEO of Lumpco, Wallace O'Connor and his wife (and head scientist) Leticia Lump. Born with a slight dwarfism, she was regularly shorter than most but made up for it with being a talented acrobat capable of grand performances. She was very much a good pick for the heir to the company... were it not for the fact that she didn't want that job one bit. Rather, she wanted to explore the world and live dangerously.
Eventually though, she decided to get into one field that she knew was perfect for her: master thievery. Her acrobatic skills, combined with her meaningful wealth meant that she could pull off heists with ease, while the claws she forged helped her with cutting through glass windows to avoid triggering any alarms! She considered herself foolproof, as even without any powers she was still more trained than most other criminals could even think of!
Then reality crashed in, in the form of Gattaca, who slammed her into a hospital visit. Knowing that powers were a dangerous thing, she decided to only target valuable items from then on, while also taking precautions against future incidents. Still though, one hero by the name of Hawk has caught her eye, and like a cat seeking to catch a mouse she certainly wants to woo him over to her side if she can. Even if she needs to persuade him and pamper him a bit.
Tsunami
Civilian Name: Thomas Warren
Age: 36
Height/Weight: 5'10"/177 lbs.
Origin: Atlantean on Land
A ex-soldier of Atlantis, Thomas was a warrior on the wrong side of the war between his country and Italy. Invading and occupying the country for Queen Angleri, he alongside hundreds of thousands of Atlanteans forced the nation's inhabitants into exile, confusing them for a Rome that was long gone. One of the few Atlanteans to discover the truth by actually looking into the history books, he was disgusted by his actions and deserted.
He eventually came to America, where he found a wife named Denise and had three kids. However, in spite of trying to remain at peace he was still bred to be a warrior and needed to sate his urges. He became a goon for hire, working for various villains not out of any loyalty but strictly for money so that he could help support his family in his own way.
Nowadays, he is currently working for Gundercorp. However, although he has been wanting to leave his current employer for a while, Grant has found out about his history, and is threatening to release it to the government unless he remains working under Gundercorp permanently. Hating the man dearly but wanting his family to survive, he has no choice but to work under a foul man... even if he desperately wants to run free once more.
Skate Queen
Civilian Name: Sakasa
Age: 21
Height/Weight: 5'3"/205 lbs.
Origin: Skater "Alien"
Sakasa claims to be the queen of the planet Hydroxa, and a invader from space who wishes to rob this planet of every valuable. She tries putting up a regal appearance of herself, wearing as much jewelry as she can in order to intimidate people. She even makes use of an advanced form of propulsion in order to skate around the place really fast, shredding up the ground with each powerful slide her skates make.
In truth though, she is not royalty and is technically not even an alien. Rather, she is a hybrid of a human and a moth, with unique segmented eyes and a pair of beautiiful purple wings she passes off as accessories rather than not just being functional but also actually capable of lifting her on the ground. To be fair though, she wasn't always like this, originally just being a garden variety moth who was infused with great amounts of human DNA by a unknown benefactor.
Still though, with her newfound sentience she came to a identity and is clinging onto it despite how silly it sounds. At the very least, in the twenty years since she came up with the identity she has been learning how to actually skate around on the ground, despite not being able to exactly move at supersonic speeds. Still though, she's practically a joke, and has made herself chubby with the amount of times she's eaten a whole pint of ice cream out of depression at being a failure of a goon.
