Her name is Zara, and until she came to Kara, she lived in the Calleryn Forest all her young life. She is considered a great beauty, even among elvenkind. She has red hair, green eyes and fair skin, which are not unusual traits among elves. She is five and a half feet tall, which is slightly taller than the average elf maiden. And she is definitely bosomier than the average elf maiden.
Zara is trained as an Alfarin, a uniquely elven order of warriors dedicated to the eradication of demonic fiends and the undead. Zara possess certain abilities to aid her in this quest.
Sitting at the table are the other novice adventurers Zara has gathered for this adventure.
First there is Durafan, a female Bayata Doduggwa. The Bayata look human, except that they have shell like ears, line markings on their necks and shoulders, and tuftless leonine tails. Bayatas are East Asian in appearance, and are unusually agile and dexterous. Bayatas are natural explorers.
The Doduggwa is a class that combines aspects of a common thief, an acrobat, a rock climber and a Shaolin monk.
Then there is J’Sef Pinoak, a male grumpi. A grumpi is a humanoid who is usually found living in swamps and marshes. The average grumpi male is seven and a half foot tall. Grumpis have thick fur in colors like brown, red, gray, and blue. They have long, floppy ears and broad, pink noses. They live with their family and clans and are especially attuned to nature.
J’Sef is a practitioner of natural magic, and seems especially focused on that part of nature which abounds in decay. J’Sef will argue that life and death are an endless cycle, two sides of the coin of existence.
Next is Thomanarias, an average looking Kingdom human male who is a priest of Anakara, goddess of twilight.
Finally there is Phran, a female Waysah. The Waysah are human in appearance, with rabbit like features, including ears. The average female Waysah stands five foot nine inches tall. The Waysah are more common in smaller towns situated in farming communities. They’re known for their quick reflexes and preternatural luck.
Having grown up in a rural community, you’ve met more than a few Waysah. You even kept company with the daughter of the local dry goods merchant who was a Waysah.
You never suspected that any Waysah would ever become an adventurer.
Phran is easily the most beautiful woman you have ever met. She stands six foot two inches tall (seven foot one if you include her ears). The word ‘statuesque’ must have been invented for her physique. She has a flawless peaches and cream complexion, crystal blue eyes and platinum blonde hair that hangs in a single braid to the small of her back.
Phran calls herself a Darkhunter, and is adept with a bow and a sword. Darkhunters are at home in the darkest places: deep under the earth, in primeval forests, and wherever else the light dims. A darkhunter ventures boldly into the darkness, seeking to ambush threats before they can reach the broader world.
