Ethan had always admired his mom. Despite his fathers untimely departure, his mom managed to keep the family afloat. Yes she did work two jobs while he was in middle and high school, but once Emily and himself went off to college, they started working part time jobs to help their mom. So in what he presumed were his final moments, his thoughts went to his mom.
A voice in his unconscious mind echoed, “ETHAN SUMMERS, WHEN YOU AWAKE YOU WILL ATTAIN A NEW UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR MOTHER, MARTHA SUMMERS.”
