You were walking through the school, ready to go home and relax for the first time in ages. You’d barely made it out of the gate before Makoto walked up next to you. She looked up to you, dark eyes fixated with a purpose. It was the kind of glare that signaled you were about to have something new on your plate.
“You didn’t forget about our study session, did you?”
She was dead serious. To be honest, you’d completely forgotten. Makoto had planned a study session for you, Ryuji and Ann a few months ago. You all had blown it off, ignoring Makoto’s continuous nagging to bring you in. When all your grades came back and they were…less than stellar, Makoto had not been pleased. But she was right next to you now, and she had a point. It wouldn’t be good for you if you continued to fail.
So she planned a new study session, this time, you were going whether you liked it or not. She had a good relationship with Sakura, and she could easily coerce him to make staying at the café worse than whatever she had planned.
“Of course. I need to get my grades up.”

And that’s how you found yourself sitting at Makoto’s living room table with piles of books and notes in front of you. The nearly infinite walls of text made you want to panic. You were incredibly behind on studying. To divert yourself from this crisis, you pulled up your phone. For the fifth time. In the thirty minutes you’d been here. Makoto sighed, frustrated at you getting distracted again. She snapped up one of your papers, somehow making a loud crack sound with the flimsy sheet, and asked you a question from your review.
“Which suit of cards represents the Holy Grail.”
You thought about it for a second. At least there was a chance you could guess it..
“Clubs?”
Makoto’s dark eyes bore into you. You could read from her face that she was a little upset, but that was practically hidden behind the absolute fury in her gaze.
“I was worried it might come to this.”
Worried what might come to this? By the time you registered Makoto was upon you, it was too late to stop her attack. After a quick flurry, you were on the ground, face-down into the floor with your senpai’s weight bearing down on you. You tried to fight her off, but Makoto was no slouch physically and had all the leverage. Cold metal clinked around your wrists. She’d just handcuffed you! Her sister did spend tons of time around the police station; maybe it wasn’t that crazy that she snagged a pair.
What happens next?
1) Makoto puts a book under you and continues to sit on you to make sure you can’t get distracted. Her weight starts to feel like a lot after a little while.
2) Makoto makes you her “study butty”. She sits on your face while she quizzes you. Wrong answers lead to punishment.
3) Makoto gathers up a whole bunch of dirty clothes (hers and Sae’s) and forces them around your nose. The sooner you can start doing okay on her quizzes, the sooner she’ll let you go.
