Suddenly, James shifted. One leg swung forward, and Dylan yelped, diving to the side as the giant foot descended. But James, oblivious to Dylan’s presence, let his foot settle fully, the weight pressing down with unrelenting pressure. The sole was slick, slimy with a sheen of sweat, the moist heat smothering Dylan’s face. The damp, musky scent overwhelmed his senses, each breath a struggle against the slick skin that clung to his cheeks and lips. His heart pounded, a mix of fear and an unsettling, primal thrill coursing through him as the giant’s foot ground subtly against him, unaware.
