You knock on apartment number 000 and hear the sound of multiple dogs barking behind the door. "Come in." Calls a voice, and you answer to be greeted by the sight of a huge three headed dog, who excitedly greets you with a barrage of kisses.
"Okay, Cerberus! Down boy!" You say as Cerberus lays on his back, wanting a belly rub. You oblige him as you look around the rather dull, dreary and fog enshrouded landscape that was the domain of Hades, Lord of the Dead, and his wife, Persephone.
Speaking of whom, Hades himself appears, his grey skin, bald head and long dark beard giving him a rather unsettling appearance. But you've known him for ten years now, even become girl friends with his wife. You know he's really not a bad guy, despite his title.
"Kat, good to see you." He says with a bit of a smile. "You too, Hades. What's the situation?" "Persephone wanted to see you. She's getting ready for her annual trip to be with her mother for a few months." Hades said, his face going a bit sour.
Hades loved his wife dearly and hated when she had to go away for so long. "Don't worry, Hades. It's only for a season, you know that." Yous ay, trying to cheer him up.
Just then, Persephone entered. "Kat! Thanks for responding so quickly! Could you come with me? There's something I wanted to ask you."
