There are exploits I have shared with my friend Sherlock Holmes which I have kept from the public, as at first glance they seem to fly in the face of the logic and rationality that are the cornerstones of Holmes' illustrious career. However, there have been many strange cases in which Holmes found himself confronted with problems from worlds very unlike our own. Being a quick study, it never took him long to quickly comprehend the rules and logic of these other realities and apply the same orderly methods of observation and deduction he is widely known for with aplomb.
Holmes was between cases and in one of his periods of lethargy and melancholy, alternating between aggressively practicing his violin and reclining across the sofa for hours on end, allowing 221b Baker Street to fall into a disarray I found quite intolerable.
But then came the knock on the door that would start us on one of the most bizarre cases I have ever been a witness to.
