"Mario, good. Come here."
The Mafia boss said, gesturing for Mario to approach him.
Mario, being the loyal underling that he was, immediately obliged. He walked over to the Mafia boss, lowering his head slightly to show respect.
"You called for me, boss?"
Mario's eyes followed the boss' gesture, noticing the captured police officer chained up nearby.
"He was spying on us, huh? Typical cop."
He mumbled, cracking his knuckles.
"What should we do with him, boss?"
The boss sends all others out of the room and the other guards quickly complied with the order, exiting the room and leaving just the Boss and Mario. The Boss waited a moment to make sure they were alone before turning to face Mario.
"Alright, we're alone now. Let's talk."
Mario furrowed his brow, listening intently as the Boss spoke about some latest illegal delivery from Egypt and there should be magical artefacts among the things…
"Egypt, huh? I heard something about a new shipment coming in."
He paused for a moment, thinking.
"Wait... Did you say artefacts? As in magical artefacts?"
Mario's eyes widened as he heard the boss talking about a specific item, some stick which is the supposed magic wand.
"A magic wand? Damn, the shipment is more interesting than I thought."
He let out a low whistle.
"Did they actually manage to find an real one? I thought those things were just myths."
The boss said that we should find it out by performing some tests on the cop. Mario nodded in understanding, a smirk forming on his face.
"Hah. I like your way of thinking, boss. Using the cop for some tests, huh? I like it."
He walked over to the chained officer and gave him a rough nudge with his foot.
"Hey, wake up, cop. Looks like you're gonna participate in some experiments."
Mario's smirk widened as he heard what the boss had in mind. He chuckled darkly
