There are a couple common combinations that Affinity Mages in the series have had.

Storm Mage: Wind, Water and Lightning affinities. I believe there's a variant of this which replaces Water with Sand.

Thunderbringer: Wind, Gravity and Force affinities (the fastest flyers).

Librarian: Paper, Ink and Foresight affinities.
