You push Spot away for a third time, this time, you get off the couch and leave the room, Spot quickly following you. In the kitchen, next to the backyard door, there were his food and water bowls, which you look into and noticed that they were completely empty. Your parents must have forgotten to give him his breakfast before they left.
A loud groan coming from Spot's belly grabbed your attention and made you turn around. The Golden Retriever was sitting right behind you, looking at you with his puppy eyes. Poor thing must be starving...
You open the cabin and pull out a bag of his favourite dog food and showed it to him. Then, you noticed that he was staring more at you than at the pack of food, which worried you a little, but also made you curious. If your parents didn't feed him, and he was licking you so powerfully earlier, was he really thinking of eating you? Did you taste so good that he's willing to eat you? Was that such a bad thing?
As more as you stared at his puppy eyes, the more that thought invaded your mind. He was your best friend and the good-est boy of all. If he really likes your taste that much, why not just let him? He surely deserves it! But still, you like living...
