In New York, you're used to skyscapers. But you're not used to skyscrapers walking around you, nearly crushing you. Looking around, you seem to be in a street somewhere. Gigantic legs crash down around you. Above you, stands one man, the man who barged into you apartment last night, the last man you saw before you felt your flesh melt...
Dear god, your flesh wasn't melting. You were shrinking.
The man bent down on his knees, putting his gigantic head mere inches from your tiny body. You stuggled to stay standing as the force of his breath pushed you to your knees.
"Goodbye, Mr. Jeffries. Enjoy your life. As long as you keep it."
He began to get up, when he turned back and smiled maliciously at you.
"Oh, and Mr. Jeffries, in case you were wondering, you're a millimeter tall. It'll save you from trying to find a ruler. Besides, the last time you tried to satisfy your curiousity...well...you know what happened..."
With that, he got up and left, leaving you, a mere speck in a metropolis, to fend for yourself.
Well, you should probably try and get to safety. The sidewalk is not a place for a tiny guy. Or, you could hitch a ride with one of the passing mountainous people and try to figure out what is going on.
