The door started to close, but Dauphin was too quick for the person on the other side and her foot wedged itself into the gap. She had caught a note of panic in the other's voice... if Tamor was not here, then this person knew something.
"Think about it. If he lived here before you surely he left an address?"
"He's not here. Why won't you people just leave me alone?"
"My people?" Dauphin asked.
"Yes, you people. Keep coming here looking for Tamor. Constantly questionning me...."
Dauphin had a feeling Tamor might be in trouble and that this person knew more than they were confessing to.
