Nowhere to run

The girl panicked as the guards approached her. She looked around wildly for some way out, but none presented itself easily to her mind. Finally, she just ran blindly, heading for a door she hoped would open. Before she could move two steps, however, she was again surrounded by the cold blue flames. This time, though, they were most intense. She found herself falling in a well of darkness....
