This choice: Leave her alone, she looks like she doesnt want to be bothered • Go Back...Chapter #5Finding a Partner. by: Unknown "She looks like she needs some time alone", you think to yourself. While taking in the beauty in the corner and deliberating whether or not to approach her, another lucious woman has taken a seat at your table. Finally taking notice, you stutter in shock, "Oh! H..hi". "Hello", the woman replies, "My name is Julia. What's yours"? "I'm Brian", you say, regaining your composure, "I don't mean to be rude, but why did you just sit down with me"? "Well, you don't have anyone with you now it seems, and this island is pretty much the same as any other without a partner", Julia responds, "Seeing as how I was suffering from the same problem, it only makes sense that I would want to at least introduce myself".
You are quiet for a moment. You are shocked that Julia doesn't have a partner. How could it be possible for Julia, a ravishingly beautiful young woman, with such sparkling blue eyes, a perfect, that shoulder length brunette hair, and silky smooth skin not have been able to attract anyone? After another moment of contemplation, you conclude that it is better to count your blessings and not screw up such a good thing.
"I see", you say, your timing a little akward, "So, you want to shrink me down and keep me as a pet, is that it"? "No, no, no", Julia quickly denies, "I'm not that mean. It's just that when I heard about this island, I thought the idea of shrinking seemed kind of...I don't know...cool. I would prefer it if you were the one to shrink, but if your not comfortable with that I wouldn't mind switching roles".
Your not sure whether you are relieved or dissapointed that Julia did not want to treat you like a pet, but you know you want to go along with her idea. The question is, which side do you want to play on in this little fantasy come true scenario. You feel a natural trust with Julia for whatever reason, so you really aren't too worried about Julia doing horrible things to you if you shrink. Then again, you just met Julia. Can you really trust a stranger with such power based on your gut reactions? Besides, you are somewhat of a control freak. Furthermore, you have never been one to take orders from a woman.
"Alright, I'll take you up on your offer", you announce to Julia. "Great", Julia proclaims with great jubilance, "but are you okay with being shrunken down and under the care of a total stranger, or have you decided to...go the other way". Julia doesn't seem too pleased with the idea of being shrunken down as much now that the option has reached one step closer to reality.
