A brilliant idea!

The girl thought for a moment. She had exhausted all of her options, been to every pet store everywhere. No one could seem to help her. Just then, an elderly woman approached her. "Dearie," the little old lady began, "why do you look so sad?" The girl turned and said "I'm looking for a special sort of animal and I can't seem to find one anywhere."

The little old lady let out a raspy sort of giggle. "Why don't you try the zoo, then?"

"Of course!" the girl thought. "They MUST have dragons at the zoo!" And she could probably talk to the keepers and tell them all about Smoky and they'd be able to put her in touch with someone who dealt in dragons! Surly it had to work! It must!
