Fearing legal action the manager gave Debbie a huge batch of certificates, enough for a lifetime supply of fast food. This was most fortuitous. Debbie knew that if she wanted to gain weight, she would have to change her diet. A life of eating steamed veggies and lean meats had resulted in Debbie possessing a slender figure unlike Greg's. These certificate's gave Debbie the opportunity to change all that. No longer would she be the weird thin girl going out with the fat guy but just any other typical couple.
Possessing those certificates meant that Debbie didn't have to worry about money. Fast food was free for Debbie and she intended to take full advantage of it. Debbie immediately quit eating her usual foods and adopted a diet solely of greasy fast food.
