You sit for an hour in the lounge, sipping occasionally, and steadily feel better. You're just thinking of going when the manager appears.
"Hey, I'm really sorry about what happened," he begins, "I hope you're feeling better. You looked like you really enjoy our food, and... I want to make it up to you. Would you like to make some money? I'd like to offer you a job..."
A job? Here? Your brain reels. Boy, if you want to really gain weight for Greg, working at Burger King should help. Even better, Greg loves Burger King, and when he gets back you'll be able to serve him food, maybe even get him some good deals...
The manager thinks you're hesitating and ups the ante. "Look, there are great benefits - I'd give you your choice of shifts, and employees get discounts on food and access to the lounge and game room."
You interrupt him and reply, "Is the discount only on food for me? Or can I buy food for other people?"
"No," he smiles, "it's on any food you buy, no matter who eats it."
"And can I bring my boyfriend to the game room."
"Sure, you can sign him in. Look, would he like a job too? You could work the same shifts..."
Perfect, you think. Get Greg working at Burger King and he might get even bigger...of course, you'll be getting bigger in the meantime.
"Yes, I accept!" you say enthusiastically.
"Great!" the manager says. "Can you come in for training on Saturday?"
