Victory...or not

The knight charged for the girl, who had her
sword drawn with a determined look etched in
her intense eyes. Alex let out a yell and
pounced on the charging knight, yanking the
helmet from his head and cuffing him with the
pommel of his sword. Breathing heavily, he
moved to touch Julia's face. She smiled,
relieved and helped Alex up. Suddenly, a host
of heavily armed barbarians appeared over
the hill, their eyes fixed on the once victorious
couple.
