Baby April

"Mommy! Daddy! Mommy! Daddy! Baby's name! What's her name??!! Mommy -- "
"Kalib!" Matilda shouted, "She's sleeping! Shhh..."
"What's the baby's name?" Kalib whispered, a lot quieter now, "Pleease, Mommy, Daddy, pleeease tell me."
Jack smiled. "April. It's your new sister, April."
"Is April gonna be fun?" Kalib whispered, "Are we gonna play fun games together?"
"When she gets older, Kalib," Matilda whispered, "She's much to little to play hide-and-go-seek, and Tag, and all those other games that you and Thomas and Heather play."
"Ohhh," Kalib nodded, understanding now.
Jack and Kalib just smiled, and they looked at baby April one more time before they left her alone to fall into a deeper sleep.
