Rachel the Ruler

"Everybody listen to me!" Rachel shouted, "I'm the boss! Me! Me! Me! Yay!"
It was recess, in Kindergarten, and all the boys and girls except for Alice and Clara went up to her.
"I don't know why she has to be like this," Mrs. Hubertine was discussing one day with Matilda and Jack, "It's just she has a problem--she wants to rule everybody over, and doesn't share--"
"It can be arranged," Jack interupted, a little embarrassed for his daughter.
"It better be," Mrs. Hubertine said, "Because this sweet little girl isn't so sweet anymore."
