Then Mommy told him that Uncle George couldn't ever really die because he lived in Kalib's heart, but Kalib didn't want Uncle George in his heart. He wanted him right down the street! It wasn't fair!
But there wasn't anything anyone could do about it. Kalib told himself that Uncle George lived in the cemetery now. Kalib went there every day after school and told him all about his day. Sometimes, he pretended that Uncle George talked back, but he knew that he didn't really.
