"Hi, Daniella. Listen, if you're there, pick up."

Silence.

"Well, I guess I would like it if you'd call me once you have time...uh...I'll talk to you soon, I guess. It kind of sucks we don't have any classes together--"

"Hello? Em?"

"Dani?!" Emma's heart leaped. She was home! Oh yes, she was home--now, she wouldn't be bored!

"Uh, yeah, listen Em--I can't talk now."

"Oh." Emma's spirits sunk.

"I have my boyfriend over."

"Since when do you have a boyfriend?"

"You wanna come over and meet him?"
