Calling her Mom

As soon as Daniella had hung up with her, Emma stood there silently staring at the phone, tears springing to her eyes. She didn't know what to do. Finally, after five minutes she decided to call her mother. Mom always knows best.

Emma started dialing the phone.

"Hello?" Emma's Mom asked rigidly.
