Chapter #5A Mysterious Laboratory by: Galahad   You open the door and crawl inside the room...
You stand up, feeling very small. You are in an enormous white laboratory. For almost as far as you can see, there are test tubes, and beakers, and computers, and many documents everywhere. You see endless rows of mice in cages. The fact that this could be under your small town school intrigues you so you decide to look around. A figure comes towards you from afar. It is a man, dressed in a gleaming white lab coat, with grey hair who is slightly overweight. Suddenly you recognize him...
"Dr. Hogarth?!" you exclaim.
"Yes, it is me," the man replies. Dr. Hogarth is the head of the science department at your school. You are in his 3rd period physics class. He is a great teacher, and a nice man to know. You stare at him blankly for a minute, dumbfounded.
"What is all of this?" you ask.
"Well, my boy," he explains, "it wouldn't make any sense for me to lie to you after you've discovered this place, so I'll just tell you the truth and get it over with. I am much more than a high school science teacher. I really work for the government. They created a top secret lab for me to do chemical research, while maintaining my "normal" life as an average citizen. I do mainly metabolical research, but sometimes I like to have a little fun and create things for my own enjoyment. I have far greater technology at my fingertips than most people could ever imagine. Some people could argue that some of the potions I've created could only exist in fairytales and storybooks, but believe it or not, they exist here, in the real world. I would advise that you keep your mouth shut about this place, or the FBI might do somethiing to you that would be beyond my control. And I wouldn't want something to happen to one of my favorite students..."
Your jaw drops as you stand in front of him, speechless.
"You may have a look around if you would like, just don't touch anything... for your own safety..."
You nod and proceed to meander aimlessly about the gigantic laboratory, still awestruck at the magnificent structure around you. However, your fun soon ends. While staring at something on your left, you keep walking and knock a beaker off of a rack in the middle of the room. The glass shatters and the solution spills all over you.
