Tom's hand was reaching for the door when he happened to glance toward the floor. His eyes registered the unusual sight of a fluttering piece of litter waving in the hands of... The young man came to an abrupt halt as he recognized the tiny figure waving the foil wrapper, a former sheath for a stick of gum, wildly about his head and shoulders.

"Eric!"

The shrunken scientist felt like celebrating. "Yes!" He yelled up at his enormous boyfriend. "It's me."

Tom kneeled, his lanky form folding itself tighter as he got closer to his thumb-sized boyfriend on the floor of the laboratory. "What the hell?"

Shouting loudly to be heard, Eric made himself hoarse before he completed his summary of the chain of events that had left him accidentally three inches tall. As the story began to make sense, despite his initial incredulity, Tom felt his dick stir in the boxers inside his tight jeans. His slightly older, more sophisticated, incredibly intelligent boyfriend, was now, literally in fact after Tom swiped him off the floor without advance warning, in Tom's hands.

A flustered Eric tried to regain his balance and his dignity. "Be careful," he said. "I'm very fragile at this size."

Eric was rewarded with one of Tom's lopsided grins. "Bet you're tougher than you look."

"Let's not test it," Eric said. "Now, I need you to help me find out what went wrong with the shrink ray."

Tom whistled. "Your machine looks fried," he said. "Maybe I should get someone else to help."

Eric thought about it, but there was the fact of his rather clandestine relationship with Tom. There could be questions.

"It's late," Tom said. "Why don't I take you home? We can sleep on it and tackle the problem tomorrow."

Eric wasn't quite convinced, but he was smaller than Tom's thumb. He gave a hesitant nod of his head.

"Perfect," Tom said a little too lightly for Eric's comfort.
