You open the door to your home, still a little shaken by the sight of your hand being a hairy animal hand reaching for the door. "At least I'm a good looking dog" you think to yourself as you enter.
The house looks very lacking in technology. There are no electric light fixtures, the walls are made of cobblestone, and the floor appears to be shaved tree bark but feels no different than a carpet under your doggy feet. On the left side of the living room is a fireplace with a roaring flame, and not too far away is a couch with a german shepherd with an enormous stomach sitting on it reading a newspaper.
He turns to you and says, "Oh thank goodness your home." His voice is exactly that of your father's, leading you to believe that this dog is your dad but he's bigger than in your world by at least 75 pounds. "Sweetie, (IYNH) is home!"
"Oh good. I thought you were going to miss your brother coming home." Your moms voice rings from the room down the way as she appears in the doorway. She is a golden lab, just as big as she is in your world.
Almost disregarding the fact that they are dogs, you reply, "Oh, Mikes coming over?"
"Yes, we told you about this last month," your father says, "when he wrote to us that his studies were finished for the year at his college and he was going to make the journey back home for a few months."
"He should have been here by now dont you think? What if something happened to him?" your mother worries
"Mike's a big dog, he can handle himself. There have been reports of strange things attacking people according to the newspaper." He says tapping down on the paper that rests on his gut.
After taking all of this in, you decide to go to your room but find that there is no second story. Not wanting to cause suspicion, you don't say anything and wander around the house. You find that there is a plumbing system in this world, and that instead of a second story, you have a downstairs where your bedroom is. Your room is laid out exactly the same as your original room is, save for some pleasures such as a tv and mini fridge. there is a hole in the ceiling on the other side of the room that opens out into the street letting a cool breeze in. You sit on your bed, which is not as comfortable as your one back home, before reclining and thinking about what to do next when suddenly-
