Most shifts she says you'll be the only guy in the store - they needs somebody strong to carry stuff out to shoppers' cars, help set up displays, and 'show a little muscle' if some bozo wanders in - you can do all that."
"Hmmm..." you say. This is not quite what you'd imagined doing for the summer.
"She says they've hired a couple of girls from your class too, so there'll be someone there you know. And I hear that they bring in baked goods everyday..."
"Well, sure," you reply, thinking that, it's only for a summer.
