Where do these tales take place, the modern world is very much like current earth, with slight variations, Very humanlike actions are likely. In the fantasy worlds it's classic D&D or an intregated socity where beasts are viewed as community members.

In all lines they are probally a bit feared because of unusuall tastes and sizes/powers
