This choice: You burn the village, and eat everyone • Go Back...Chapter #6You burn the village, and eat everyone by: Bio Draft   You lean down near the male and ask, "excuse me mortal, but can you explain to me why you are at the stake instead of my desired sacrifice?" The male looks at your piercing eyes, shaking as much as his restraints would allow.
"H..he..he told me th..th...that if we gave you another one of our..fe...females, we would have to force families to...to give their mothers and wives up to you. We ran out of female law breakers and prost...proste..tutes." the male explained while sweat dripped down his face. "If it helps, I'll do anything and everything if you accept me as your sacrifice. Just until we have another female for you, is that poss...possible? " he tells you while trying to force a smile through hi seed fear.
You back away and sit up tall, towering the male and casting a shadow on him. "I see, well then, ih if that issue this village is dealing with may I ask you one last question before we get started?" You pronounce to the male, narrowing your eyes.
"Su....sure......you can......oh...gre....gre......great one," he muster out.
"Who runs this village, mortal?" You command, getting up on all four.
"I'm not too sure, town hall maybe. I don’t know, I'm was just in jail for two years." He cries out. Tears running down his face.
You snort in agrivation grabbing the crying males attention. "Thank you for your cooperation. But you were never going sate the traditional sacrifice. Nor would you be a good slave," you tell him as you uproot the stake, "as you are too weak to fulfill my demands," you finish saying before crushing the male sacrifice un your scaled palm. You toss what left of him into a near by building. "If you thought giving me a male sacrifice in hopes of saving your females yourselves, then you are solely mistaken," you roar, pacing around the sacrificial spot. "So now the friends and family you so hope to protect wil be my sacrifice!" You roar once more in anger.
"WAIT!"
You stop your pacing and look at where the voice came from. It was a woman that looked just young enough to be classified as a child, but almost old to bear children. "Great dragon, please, if it will appease you to not attack the village, I will become a sacrifice. For my village." She demanded to you. Holding her ground in what she can call bravery.
You turn and make your way to the girl, purposely creating craters as you move. You return your murderous stare back at her as she did to you.
"Please don't Anna, you don't have to do this, for the love of God we need you with us, we will fall from the seams with....."
"Shut it. Don't you see that this is my decision. I'm doing what I can to save you. To save everyone, to save my little brother," Anna yells, not breaking contact with your eyes. "Now get back inside. I would like you to avoid seeing my death. This I request from you. As your daughter." As Anna was finishing her discussion, you come up to her just a claw away from each other.
You both stare intensely at each other. Neither one of you budge an inch.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
