Amy blinked, rubbing her belly. "What's the problem?"
Tails sighed. "There are three people who know the most about the Emeralds: Shadow, Dr. Eggman, and Mammoth Mogul. I refuse to go near Mogul unless it's to hit him, Eggman will probably attack us, and Shadow isn't known for being cooperative. Plus, we'd probably have to go through Rouge, and you know how she is around gems."
Amy scowled. "Great... Some choices... What about Sonic?"
Tails shook his head. "Sonic knows how to use the power for himself. Beyond that, he freely admits he's clueless. The closest choice after the three I mentioned is Nicole, and her database is limited to what ADAM knew before his death..."
Amy frowned. "Well, we have to pick someone. I'm scared to use this thing again."
Tails sighed. "Sorry about our date," he said, smiling weakly.
Amy smiled. "It's okay," she said, kissing him on the forehead.
