On a normal day you would describe Jess as being 'petite'.
Today is far from being a normal day. The woman's vacated sandals sit before you, each stretching to the length of a good-sized street, and much, much wider.
On one side, the toes of her left foot perch at the heel, holding tight with a pressure that their immense size promises you would be enough to crush your puny form, while those of her right rake absent mindedly across the top, scratching at an itch absent-mindedly as she swings her leg back and forth, a gargantuan pendulum so far above your head, black trousers covering the skyscraper-like legs.
Jessica is a goddess to you now, even more above and beyond you than when you admired her beauty from afar, catching sneaking glances at her cute figure in the cafeteria. Now her 'cute figure' is like an entire world to you, and to her you are an insignificant insect good only to be ground out beneath her divine feet.
You shake your head to clear these pessimistic thoughts, but the scratching noise of toenails against flesh thunders through your being, and you despair once again.
Only force of will allows you to raise your head, to gaze up at the giantess and confront the reality of the situation; you need help, and you're going to have to contact her to get it.
The left foot is stationary; a simple jaunt over to it followed by a regimen of tickling should alert Jess to your presence, and rescue will be immediate.
The other optimist's option is to move across to the leg of her chair and scramble up that like a little spider, finding higher altitude to be nearer her eyes whereyou won't be quite so likely to be thought of as a bug.
