You decide to skip school for the day and just have fun with your new ability. You peek around the corner and see a man who is walking towards you, but is about a block away. Black hair, gray business suit, dark red tie, moustache.... As you think it, your body changes.
You wait a few moments, then casually walk out of the alley. You walk past the man.
"Good morning!" you say to the man.
"Er... good morning."
He squints at you, shakes his head, and then walks off quickly. You duck back into the alley and let yourself change back to normal.
"Neat trick." a voice behind you remarks.
You spin around. A teenage boy is sitting on some wooden crates, smiling at you. Before you can say a word, he holds his hand out to the side and appears to concentrate. His hand begins to glow, then a thin ray of light shoots from it and makes a tiny hole in a nearby dumpster.
"What...? How...?" you stammer.
"I don't know. Yesterday this freak accident occurred, and I discovered that I had this new ability. I thought I was the only one, but then I met Sarah." he replies.
"Sarah?"
His smile widens. "Look up."
You look up. AAAH! A girl is floating just above your head. She grins and waves at you.
The boy continues. "We decided to join together and try to use our new gifts for good. Would you like to join us?"
